Kadapa police arrested four persons, including two minors, for a house break-in in Yerraguntla on December 21, 2025. The arrested are Y. Vijay Paul (19), Shaik Gaibuvalli (19), and two minors from Chilamakuru village. Superintendent of Police Nachiket Vishwanath Shelke said, "The boys were addicted to vices and resorted to theft for making quick money." The group targeted the home of grocery merchant D. Ramesh Shetti and stole gold ornaments and other valuables. The police registered a case after receiving the complaint and tracked down the suspects. They were caught on the Muddanur-Kadapa road. Gold ornaments weighing 210 grams were recovered from the accused.
