Florida is facing an unusual cold snap that is causing thousands of iguanas to become 'cold stunned.' These cold-blooded reptiles can't control their body temperature, so when the weather drops below 50F (10C), they slow down and become immobile. Many iguanas are so stunned that they are falling from trees. The state's wildlife agency says this is a chance to catch them. They have asked the public to help capture these iguanas, which are not native and considered invasive. So far, more than 2,000 cold stunned iguanas have been handed over to the authorities.
