Singapore Airlines to Restart Non-Stop Flights to Riyadh from June 2026
February 4, 2026
Singapore Airlines (SIA) will begin non-stop flights between Singapore and Riyadh on June 2, 2026. The airline will offer four flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It uses the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, carrying 303 passengers in Business and Economy classes. Flight SQ498 departs Singapore at 18:20 and lands in Riyadh at 21:45. The return flight SQ499 leaves Riyadh at 23:00 and arrives in Singapore the next afternoon. This restart comes after a 12-year break, reflecting rising demand for travel and business links driven by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. Riyadh has grown into a key hub for commerce, tourism, and culture. Direct flights will now ease travel for business executives, investors, and tourists alike. Singapore Airlines’ move highlights Riyadh’s new role on the global travel map and strengthens economic connections between the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The new route reduces travel time by removing stopovers and taps into the growing flow of air traffic between these regions. From June 2026, passengers can look forward to seamless travel between these two vibrant cities, signaling a fresh chapter in international aviation.
