Jaishankar lacked details of the deal and quoted former US President Donald Trump, stating agriculture and dairy products are included. BJP MP Maya Naroliya highlighted government efforts, saying ₹4 lakh crore was given to farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, and India is now the world’s largest rice producer. BJP MP Mahendra Bhatt added that the PM-Kisan scheme builds farmers’ confidence and prevents famine-like situations. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sandeep Kumar Pathak criticised the rushed voter list revision, calling it unrealistic to finish intensive work in three months that typically takes two years.
