LDF Rally Enters Kozhikode, Highlights Kerala's Development Success

On Friday, February 6, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) rally for northern Kerala entered Kozhikode district. It was led by Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary M.V. Govindan. The rally was welcomed warmly at Adivaram and then moved through Mukkom, Koduvally, and Balussery. Speaking at Koduvally, Mr. Govindan said, "Through development initiatives implemented via the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB), the State’s infrastructure base and overall profile had been transformed." He added, "The LDF rule has helped eliminate extreme poverty in the State, and unemployment has been addressed through the promotion of entrepreneurship." The rally will continue on February 7 and 8, passing through Perambra, Nadapuram, Kuttiyadi, Vadakara, Koyilandy, Elathur, and Kunnamangalam. A public event is scheduled at Muthalakkulam Ground on February 8.
