A KSRTC driver has been suspended after a video showed him watching reels on his mobile phone while driving. The incident took place on Route No. 79 between Malavalli and Mysuru. The driver, Mahesh V., also a conductor from the Malavalli depot, was caught in the viral video. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy called the act "a grave threat to public safety" and ordered strict disciplinary action. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has suspended Mahesh V. pending a full inquiry.
