Once afraid to look in mirrors, a 25-year-old man now proudly shows off his chiselled abs after a year of hard work. Sharing his amazing transformation on the Fitness India subreddit, he revealed how he lost 20 kilograms and reshaped his life. He started at 89 kilos, stuck in a lazy routine of random gym visits without real effort. Everything flipped in one gym session when he lifted his shirt in front of the mirror and felt a sharp discomfort. "That moment became the turning point," he said, pushing himself to take fitness seriously. He followed a tough, structured workout plan, hitting the gym five days a week without excuses. His schedule was split into push, pull, legs, upper, and lower body days. Every session opened with powerful lifts like bench presses, squats, deadlifts, and pull-ups, followed by extra exercises. Core training was done three times a week, with light cardio such as incline walking or cycling twice weekly. Diet was just as important. He ate about 1,700–1,800 calories daily, with strong protein intake between 120 and 140 grams from foods like rice, chapatis, eggs, chicken, paneer, and veggies. Most meals were made in an air fryer using very little oil – clean and sustainable! Midway through the year, he added creatine to boost his strength and muscle fullness. "The early weeks were the hardest," he admitted. Hunger pangs and avoiding social meals tested his willpower. Halfway through, progress slowed, tempting him to quit. But he kept going, reminding himself of how much he had already achieved. Now, he weighs 69 kilos, lifts heavier than ever, and proudly flaunts his defined abs.
