On Sunday evening, over 70 artistes took the stage at the Marina Blue Flag beach for a lively cultural event. The programme started at 5.30 p.m. and ran for three hours. It featured folk artists from different parts of Tamil Nadu. Visitors flocked to the beach to enjoy the colorful performances. The show included multi-genre dance, instrumental music, and folk games. Unique acts like Punjabi bhangra, beatboxing, and gaana music were also part of the lineup. The Greater Chennai Corporation has been hosting these weekly cultural events at the Blue Flag beach since September 21, 2025. The events are held every Sunday evening to entertain and engage the public.
