ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Supreme Court on Monday refused the request for an immediate meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan. The court had scheduled hearings for 13 petitions involving Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. PTI had submitted a memorandum asking for jail visitation rights for Imran Khan. This request was sent to relevant executive authorities for legal review. The two-member bench, led by Chief Justice Yayha Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, denied PTI's request. The court said such an order needs a government notice first. Following this, a notice was issued to the government, with a response expected on Tuesday. The rejected meeting request was submitted by senior PTI leader Latif Khosa. More updates will follow.
