On February 9, Rayi Venugopal, newly appointed State vice-president of the APNGOs Association, called on the Andhra Pradesh government to form a new Pay Revision Commission. He stressed the urgent need to release dearness allowances and clear pending bills of retired employees. Venugopal received a warm welcome on his return to Srikakulam from Vijayawada, greeted by senior leaders including Chowdary Purushottam Naidu and Hanumanthu Sairam. Various organizations held a bike rally led by Ambedkar India Mission State vice president Taekwondo Srinu to support these demands. Addressing the media, Venugopal said, "The Association wanted to resolve the issues in an amicable manner while understanding the difficulties of the government." He expressed hope that the government would follow Telangana’s example and provide interim relief soon. Former State general secretary Purushottam Naidu praised Venugopal's dedication, saying, "The elevation form him as a new State vice-president is a matter of pride for Srikakulam district." This development highlights ongoing demands for better employee welfare in Andhra Pradesh.
