CHENNAI: What happens when you light a cigarette where you shouldn't? Ajmir Sheik Mohammed found out the hard way! This man was on an IndiGo flight from Kuwait to Chennai when he decided to spark a cigarette in the cramped aircraft lavatory. But smoking on planes is a big no-no. When a fellow passenger smelled smoke coming from the restroom, the cabin crew quickly stepped in. Confronted by the crew, Ajmir admitted, "Yes, I smoked." The situation escalated as soon as the flight landed at Chennai airport. Airport police arrested Ajmir on the spot for breaking the rules and booked him under Section 10 of the Aircraft Act. Fear not, Ajmir is out on bail now. However, the police have warned, "The accused must appear before the court when summoned." So next time, remember: The airplane restroom is not your smoking lounge! This incident shows how serious airlines are about safety and comfort for all. Keep those cigarettes put away! Remember, smoking inside an aircraft is not just rude – it is illegal and punishable by law.
