Genocide in Gaza Still Ongoing, Say Amnesty and B’Tselem Amid Israeli Attacks
February 13, 2026
Amnesty International and Israeli human-rights group B’Tselem say genocide in Gaza is still happening. This comes four months after a deal aimed to stop the war. Despite the deal, Israeli attacks continue. Palestinians now also face other severe dangers. The question stands: is genocide still ongoing? The issue was discussed by presenter Adrian Finighan and guests Mansour Shouman, a Middle East political analyst and citizen journalist from Gaza; Shai Parnes, Director of public outreach at B’Tselem; and Michael Lynk, a law professor and former UN special rapporteur on human rights in Palestinian territories. The experts underline that ongoing attacks and restrictions on essential resources keep Gaza in a harsh and dangerous condition. This paints a troubling picture of continued violence and human rights violations in the region.
