Seven persons died early on February 13 near Bengaluru in a major accident. The crash happened near M. Satyavara village on the Hoskote–Dabaspete National Highway. Police said an SUV was traveling from Hoskote towards Devanahalli. It hit a motorcycle from behind. After the first impact, the SUV driver lost control and crashed into a goods vehicle. Another car got caught in the wreck, causing a pile-up of multiple vehicles. Six people inside the SUV and the motorcycle rider died on the spot. Police believe the victims are from Kothanur in Bengaluru, but their identities are still unconfirmed. The bodies were taken to Hoskote Government Hospital for post-mortem. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
