A 24-year-old MBA student, missing for two days, was found dead inside her alleged boyfriend’s locked house on February 13, 2026. Police suspect she was strangled to death. The victim’s father said the boyfriend had threatened her with sharing private photos to extort money. The male friend, also her classmate and main suspect, is missing. Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Krishna Lalchandani told PTI that Dwarkapuri police entered the house after locals complained of a foul smell. They found the woman’s naked body inside. She appeared to have died two days earlier by strangulation. Final cause will be confirmed by post-mortem. The woman was studying MBA at a city college. Her family had reported her missing to Pandharinath police station. The DCP said, "We suspect the murder was committed due to a rift in their romantic relationship." Her father said she left home on February 11, saying she was going to a birthday party. "I identified my daughter's body from her socks," he added. He also claimed the suspect, from Mandsaur, had shared her objectionable photos in her college WhatsApp group to pressure her for money.
