White House Drops Funny Political Valentine’s Cards Featuring Trump, Maduro, and Greenland
February 14, 2026
The White House surprised many on Saturday by releasing quirky political Valentine’s Day cards on social media. Under the caption “Made just for you”, they shared cards featuring sharp political satire tied to big moments in the current US presidency. One eye-catching card showed detained former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro blindfolded and in a grey tracksuit. This image, tinted red, was from his capture by US forces during a secret midnight military raid. The card read, “You captured my heart.” Another card featured US President Donald Trump holding a paper labeled “Executive Order 4547” with the words “UR My Valentine.” A third card showed Senator Chris Van Hollen sipping margaritas with a man tied to the MS-13 gang, framed inside a heart, with the message, “My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens,” according to the New York Post. The White House also posted a card about Greenland, showing the Arctic island inside a heart alongside the phrase, “It’s time we define our situationship.” This nods to Trump’s long-discussed interest in Greenland for US foreign policy, a move opposed by local residents and European leaders. Reports say these funny and sharp online posts are mainly created by President Trump himself, with help from his deputies Dan Scavino and Kaelan Dorr.
