A 17-year-old girl named Demi Edmunds died in a collision involving three cars on the A4042 in Cwmbran, Wales. The accident happened around 12:25 pm on Thursday. Demi was the only pedestrian involved. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Demi lived in Caldicot. Her brother Jake shared a heartfelt tribute through Gwent police on Saturday. He said, "Demi was the best sister I could’ve ever asked for. She was funny, kind and caring." Jake added, "Me and her were very close, she was like a best friend to me that I could trust with anything and everything, but she’s no longer with us any more. Hopefully she’s in heaven, somewhere better." The family has asked for privacy while they grieve. In a statement, they said, "Demi was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin and niece. Demi loved her friends, and she was loved by all." Police continue to investigate the accident and have asked anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them with log reference 2600046163. The Welsh ambulance service also attended the scene.
