Mysuru Police Nab Three with Over 40g MDMA Worth ₹4 Lakh in Major Drug Bust

Mysuru police cracked down on illegal drug trade by arresting three men and seizing more than 40 grams of MDMA worth ₹4 lakh. Initially, officers at Mandi Police station caught Mohammed Kareem and Nishad Pasha with 3.14 grams of MDMA. A case was filed under Section 22 (b) of the NDPS Act, and the accused were sent to judicial custody. Further investigation led to the arrest of Mohammed Roshan, 22, a spray-painting worker from Ghousia Nagar. Roshan was caught with 41.31 grams of MDMA after absconding from police. He was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. Police revealed Roshan already faces an NDPS case at Udayagiri Police Station. They also found he procures MDMA from an unknown source in Bengaluru via social media and then sells it in Mysuru. Authorities say a watch is now on his distribution network, and more arrests could follow. The city police continue firm action against drug sale, transport, and use. City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar praised the efforts of Mandi Police station inspector R. Divakar, police sub inspector Raju. K, and others involved in the operation.
