A case has been registered against the Haldiram’s outlet in Attapur, Hyderabad, after a customer complained about fungus-infected sweets. The woman bought sweets worth ₹100 and later found them covered with fungus. When she raised the issue, the shop staff allegedly abused her with filthy language. Photos and videos of the infested sweets quickly went viral online. Officials have collected samples from the outlet. These will be sent to the food safety inspector for analysis. The Attapur police have started an investigation and action is ongoing.
