A special science exhibition named 'Quantum Century' will start at Government College for Women, Vazhuthacaud on Thursday. The event honours 100 years of quantum science. The exhibition will open at 10:30 a.m. Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty will inaugurate it. Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) president T.K. Meera Bai will preside over the function. Shaiju, director of Cochin University of Science and Technology’s Centre for Science in Society, will present a report. Other speakers include Chief Minister’s scientific adviser M.C. Dathan, ward councillor Rakhi Ravikumar, and the college Principal V. Umajyothi. Along with the main exhibition on quantum science, there will be displays from various college departments. Scientific research organisations will also set up stalls.
