Stop everything, Mumbai! A scary bomb threat message popped up on the official WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, shaking the city’s nerves on Friday. The threatening note claimed that 34 ‘human bombs’ are hidden inside just as many vehicles scattered all over this buzzing metropolis. The warning was loud and clear: “The blast will shake entire Mumbai.” But wait, it gets scarier! The message accused a group called ‘Lashkar-e-Jihadi’ of sneaking 14 Pakistani terrorists into India. And the explosive weight? A whopping 400 kilograms of RDX, ready to cause chaos. Mumbai Police quickly swung into action. “Mumbai Police is alert and security across the state has been enhanced. All angles of the threat are being investigated,” a police official confirmed. The Crime Branch is hot on the scent, with the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and other security heroes joining the hunt. Right now, Mumbai is in the middle of its grand 10-day Ganesh festival, an event that fills the streets with millions of devotees and joyful celebrations. The final day is tomorrow—Saturday—a massive crowd is expected. So, the police are doubling down on security, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. To stop panic but stay safe, police are running combing operations at important spots around the city. They are also appealing to Mumbaikars, the city’s lovely residents, asking them not to believe rumours and to report any suspicious activities immediately. So, while the city celebrates, the police keep guard—Mumbai’s safety comes first!
