She added she never wanted a wedding that felt stiff or cliché: “I don’t want it to just be like, ‘So, I have a scrapbook. In it, I put all the fabric swatches of the wedding dress I’m going to wear. I also have a tuxedo I picked out of a catalog that you’ll wear.’” Taylor was clear—her partner should never be just a co-star but a true dream-chaser alongside her. Fast forward to today, and Taylor, now 35, is officially engaged to Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who surprised everyone with a vintage old mine brilliant cut diamond from designer Kindred Lubbock of Artifex Fine Jewelry. Travis apparently had a “clear vision of what he wanted,” showing love with style! The couple announced their engagement with a fun Instagram post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Travis even teased on his podcast with brother Jason on September 3, “Oh, it’s gonna go crazy,” hinting that wedding plans are already full throttle! But it’s not just about the big day. Both Taylor and Travis want more—starting a family together. “They absolutely want a family” said a source. This fits with what Taylor said years ago: “Being a mom full-time, doing everything for my kids, having a bunch of them. One day, I’m sure. But that’s the only other thing that could be as thrilling for me as doing this (career).” What a beautiful combination of love, dreams, and future plans!
