Lt Gen Dhillon Slams Pakistan Army Chief Munir for Hiding in Bunker During Operation Sindoor

In a spicy exclusive with ANI, retired Lieutenant General KJS (Tiny) Dhillon did not hold back while talking about Pakistan's Army chief Asim Munir. Dhillon blasted Munir as "The only Army chief who went into a bunker during the operations and the only Army chief who elevated himself to a field marshal just to avoid the public scrutiny." Can you imagine that? A big gun hiding in a bunker while action is on! Dhillon also pointed out another eyebrow-raising fact: Munir was "the only army chief to be accompanying the head of state to the SCO meeting" and "the only army chief to be called by American president for lunch." Does that sound like democracy in action? Dhillon scoffed, saying, "So much for democracy, so much for sporting the democratic structure." He even called the Pakistan Army "the only Army in the world which has never won a war," reminding everyone about the shocking "93,000 surrenders" in the only war Pakistan fought after World War II. Dhillon, who served as Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff under the Chief of Defence Staff, now chairs the Board of Governors at IIT Mandi. He reviewed the timing of Munir’s surprising rise to the rank of Field Marshal on May 20, just days after India struck terror bases in Pakistan and an agreement on ceasefire came into effect. Munir is only the second person ever to get this rank, the first being former president Ayub Khan, Pakistan’s first Army chief after independence. The retired general praised India's new powerful stance in the region. Speaking about India's precision strikes labeled Operation Sindoor, he said, "Now, when we go and hit nine terror targets as a response to Pahalgam, no one questions us. Because now we are a new India." He explained, "It is important to tell your point but the other person understands your point better if you have a gun in hand." Dhillon proudly declared, "We are a military might, soon to be the third largest economy." He compared this to the global respect America commands, noting no one questioned the US when it raided Abbottabad to pick up Osama bin Laden. The retired lieutenant general recently authored a book titled 'Operation Sindoor, The Untold Story of India's Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan'. The book reveals how India responded to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people in April this year by launching major precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). They not only hit terror bases but also repelled Pakistani attacks and took down enemy aircraft. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh revealed on August 10 that India shot down at least five Pakistani fighter jets during Operation Sindoor and destroyed a large aircraft about 300 kilometers away. He called it "the largest ever recorded surface-to-air kill that we can talk about." With fiery words and hard-hitting facts, Lt Gen Dhillon’s insights paint a vivid picture of India’s rising power and the shaky walls behind Pakistan’s military bravado.
