India has initiated a crackdown on an alleged Pakistan-linked espionage network operating in northern states. Arrests have been made in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Among those arrested are YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and students like Guzala and Devender Singh. They are accused of sharing military and strategic information with Pakistani handlers. This comes after the expulsion of a Pakistani official for alleged espionage activities on May 13.
