Deepavali celebrations turned fiery in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area where two cars were burnt badly on the festive night! The fire broke out near the Neelyog Vedanta building close to Arogyadayi Hospital at Nityanand Nagar. It all started because of firecrackers that went out of control, said local witnesses and fire officials. The incident took place late on Monday night, October 20, 2025, with the fire brigade receiving the call at 11:33 p.m. Sharp and quick, firefighting teams dashed to the scene along with the police. They battled the blaze and managed to put out the fire in a short time, preventing further damage. Luckily, no person was hurt in the fiery episode. A civic official confirmed, “No person was injured in the blaze.” The fire brigade also mentioned that the cause was firecrackers, a common sight during Deepavali festivities, but sometimes dangerous. This incident is a reminder that amidst celebrations, safety must never be forgotten. Firecrackers may light up the sky, but they can also lead to risky situations.
