After a rally in Begusarai district, he grabbed a boat and went right into the middle of a pond to fish. Accompanying him was Mukesh Sahni, a former state minister and a member of the Vikassheel Insan Party, a junior partner in the INDIA bloc alliance. Sahni, proudly calling himself 'son of Mallah', a title that honours his fisherman's community roots, showed off his skills by casting a fishing net while in just his vest and underpants. His expertise wowed Gandhi, who followed him into waist-deep water, wearing his usual white T-shirt and cargo pants. The scene was thrilling!
