Netflix’s Physical Asia: Elite Athletes Battle in Giant Reality Show Premiering October 2025
November 19, 2025
Netflix's famous reality competition is going bigger and bolder across Asia! After the huge hit Physical 100, which starred only South Korean athletes, the brand new Physical Asia brings the best warriors from all over the continent, including Japan, the Philippines, Mongolia, and Thailand. Imagine challenges so tough they test muscle, mind, and spirit — all set on huge arenas as big as five football fields! These rings of battle will be inspired by vibrant South Korean culture to make the show even more eye-catching. Physical Asia will premiere on Netflix on October 28, 2025. What makes Physical 100 and its new cousin so exciting? The show is like a fierce tournament where 100 champions face tough tests of strength, balance, agility, endurance, willpower, and brains. Each round cuts down the contestants until one fierce winner stands tall and claims the grand prize of ₩300 million (US$240,000). To celebrate their victory, they get to smash their famous torso plaster cast with a sledgehammer! This wild, giant-scale competition with cool set designs reminds fans of the super-hit Korean thriller Squid Game. Let’s look at some star contestants from Team Thailand who are stirring up buzz! Leading the pack is Superbon Singha Mawynn, the reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion. Superbon is one of the globe’s top kickboxers. He’s famously knocked out Armenian-Italian legend Giorgio Petrosyan, proving his superstar status alongside teammate Buakaw Banchamek. Then there’s James Rusameekae, a shining Thai entertainer known for his flashy style. He's a host, actor, and model with a strong sports streak, having shown his skill in the boxing TV show 10Fight10 and as a pro volleyball player. Rugby fan Sunny Kerdkao Wechokittikorn brings endurance and teamwork, while pro wrestler Anucha Yospanya wowed with a silver medal in the 2021 SEA Games. Female stars shine too! Bodybuilding pro Ploy Nuannaree Olsen competes internationally and belongs to the IFBB community. And Jar Uracha Teerawanitsan, a CrossFit pioneer in Thailand, was the country’s top-ranked athlete for years and the first to enter the World CrossFit Games. All eyes will be glued to Physical Asia as these fierce athletes battle it out for glory in one of Netflix’s most dazzling reality shows ever! Don't miss the action, starting October 28, 2025.
