JAMMU: Get ready for a big security drama! The Jammu and Kashmir police, along with their sharp counter-intelligence squad, swooped down simultaneously on two high-security jails on Wednesday. These were the Kot Bhalwal Central Jail in Jammu and Poonch Jail. The mission? To break apart terror networks running deep inside prison walls.
These jails aren't just ordinary—they hold hardcore terrorists from Pakistan and local groups. An official revealed, "These two jails house hardcore Pakistani and local terrorists. The raids are part of an operation to bust terror networks running from inside the prisons." This crackdown is linked to the shocking November 10 suicide blast near Delhi's iconic Red Fort, connected to a Faridabad-based terror module.
The state's top cop, IGP Bhim Sen Tuti, didn't stay behind desks. He traveled to the sensitive border district of Poonch to check the security himself and ensure all is tight and ready.
The intensity is rising! In just the last three days, security forces have ramped up their operations across Jammu and Kashmir. They hit the homes of terror sympathizers and those working openly for terror groups. Just a day after checking Rajouri district jail, security teams raided Doda district jail on November 11 and detained 15 suspects, including surrendered terrorists.
This is no ordinary police work. It’s a full-on fight against terror, right inside prisons and across the state, showing zero tolerance for those threatening peace. J&K is on high alert, and the security forces mean business!
