French mobile handset brand Alcatel has announced its entry into the Indian smartphone market through licensee partner NxtCell. The company has introduced three new smartphones - Alcatel V3 Classic, V3 Pro, and V3 Ultra. These smartphones are manufactured by Dixon's subsidiary Padget Electronics in India. Alcatel aims to cater to the young consumers in India by offering a unique proposition not available from other smartphone brands in the country. The V3 series will be available for sale on Flipkart, with sales expected to begin on June 2. Additionally, Flipkart-owned Jeeves will handle after-sales services for these phones in over 300 cities in India. The phones are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The Alcatel V3 Classic features a 6.67-inch HD+ display, a 5,200 mAh battery with a 10W charger, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP front camera. It comes in 4GB and 6GB variants with 128GB storage, runs on Android 15, and is priced starting at ₹12,999. The V3 Pro boasts a 6.67-inch HD+ NxtPaper display, a 5,010 mAh battery, a 50MP main lens, an 8MP front camera, and comes only in 8GB and 256GB variants priced at ₹17,999. It is available in Matcha Green and Metallic Grey. Lastly, the V3 Ultra features a 6.78-inch FHD+ NxtPaper display, a 5,010 mAh battery with a 33W charger, a 108MP main lens, a 32MP selfie camera, and comes in 6GB and 8GB variants with 128GB storage. It runs on Android 14 and starts at ₹19,999, available in Hyper Blue, Champagne Gold, and Ocean Grey. The phones cater to various price segments and offer a wide range of features to appeal to different consumers.
