Get ready for a cybercrime thriller! The United States Embassy has loudly thanked India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for its powerful strike against transnational cybercrime. On the social media platform X, the US Embassy praised the CBI’s efforts after the agency busted an illegal call center targeting US nationals. They said, "India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has dismantled an illegal call center targeting U.S. nationals and arrested a key operative in the transnational cybercrime network. Through coordinated intelligence and decisive action, our agencies are working together to dismantle international networks to prevent future scams and keep our citizens safe. Thank you for your continued support, @CBIHeadquarters." The hero of this story is the CBI, who arrested Vikas Kumar Nimar. He led the illegal operations of a company called VC Infrometrix Pvt Ltd in Lucknow. Nimar had been on the run for more than a year but was caught last week when the CBI raided his Lucknow home after getting key information. Shockingly, during the raid, they found Nimar running yet another illegal call center! This new center was again cheating people in the US, proving just how deep this cybercrime snake goes. The CBI said, "During the search operation, the CBI busted another illegal call centre being operated by the accused Mr. Vikas Kumar Nimar in Lucknow targeting U.S. nationals." The agency recovered 52 laptops loaded with incriminating digital evidence. These gadgets were the tools used by Nimar and his gang to cheat innocent victims across the globe. This bust sends a clear message: cyber crooks beware, the CBI is on the hunt with international partners like the US to dismantle such crime networks. Thanks to teamwork and brave action, fewer dreams will be crushed by scams. The cyber war is on, and India’s CBI is leading the charge to keep everyone safe!
