The destruction is tremendous, and the people are in deep trouble. This tragic situation has shaken the island nation to its core. Rescue teams are working hard to find those missing and help the survivors. But the roads are waterlogged, and the landslides are making rescue efforts very difficult. Sri Lanka now faces a critical crisis. The heavy rains have turned life upside down for thousands, breaking homes and tearing apart communities. How long will the rains keep pouring?
