CBI Arrests Assistant Professor Suman in Uttarakhand Exam Paper Leak Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday, November 28, 2025, arrested an assistant professor linked to the Uttarakhand Graduate Level Examination paper leak case. The arrested person is Suman, an Assistant Professor at Shaheed Srimati Hansa Dhanai Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Agrora, Tehri Garhwal.
Earlier, the CBI had taken the accused private person Mohammed Khalid and his sister Sahiba into custody for questioning. The case was transferred to the CBI by the Uttarakhand government.
The agency said, "It may be recalled that the CBI had taken over the case on being transferred by the Government of Uttarakhand. The CBI had taken the accused private person and his sister in police custody and conducted detailed investigation. After thorough examination of the accused and his sister...and evaluation of the mobile phones and other evidence, the role of the Assistant Professor has come on record."
According to the CBI, the assistant professor helped the accused private person solve part of the question paper received through his sister during the exam and sent the solution to him.
This development catches the eye as the investigation unfolds further into the exam fraud.
