Family members have approached police accusing M. Nageshwar, a private college lecturer in Belagavi district, of sexually assaulting female students repeatedly over two years. The police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (PoCSO) Act. Nageshwar lives in a rented room and reportedly forced students into live-in relationships. He threatened victims with public humiliation and even murder of their parents if they reported him. The police confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
