NSW police have uncovered an "international satanic child sex abuse material ring" and charged four Australians in connection with the network. Detectives from the sex crimes squad, working under Strike Force Constantine, investigated the online distribution of child sexual abuse content featuring ritualistic themes. They broke up a Sydney-based network linked to a website run internationally. On Thursday morning last week, detectives and the riot squad executed six search warrants in Waterloo, Ultimo, and Malabar. At a Waterloo home, they arrested a 26-year-old man believed to have a "leading role" in the group. He faces multiple charges, including possession and distribution of child abuse material and bestiality content. He was denied bail and appeared in court last Friday. Three other men, aged 46, 42, and 39, were arrested at a unit block in Malabar. They were also charged with possession of child abuse material and related offenses. All four are set to return to court at a future date.
