Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore held a two-day event, Hospital Day 2025, celebrating 125 years of care. The campus hosted more than 100 stalls and workshops on clinical services, education, research, and support. Workshops covered life-saving topics like basic life support, blood donation, organ donation, and chest pain resuscitation. The event attracted over 2,500 students from 22 schools and seven colleges across Vellore and Ranipet districts. It also welcomed more than 9,000 members of the public, showing strong community interest. The celebration was inaugurated by Collector V.R. Subbulaxmi with Mayor Sujatha Anandakumar present. CMC Director Vikram Mathews praised the staff for their dedication. Medical Superintendent I. Rajesh, Nursing Superintendent Alice Sony, and Dean Shandrila Gnanatheebam also attended the event.
