The Indian Army on Monday, December 1, 2025, successfully launched the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from a test range in the Bay of Bengal. The Ministry of Defence confirmed the mission was carried out by a BrahMos unit of the Southern Command and the Tri-Services Andaman and Nicobar Command.
