December 2, 2025
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out searches on December 1, 2025, at multiple locations in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. These raids are part of the ongoing investigation into the Delhi car bomb blast outside the Red Fort on November 10. "Various digital devices and other incriminating materials were seized during the searches conducted on the premises of several accused and suspects in the two States," the NIA said.
Eight sites were searched in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, and Awantipora districts of Jammu & Kashmir, and one location in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, on November 26 and 27, the NIA had conducted extensive searches linked to the prime accused, Muzammil Shakeel Ganie and Shaheen Saeed, both doctors, at the Al Falah University complex and other places in Faridabad, Haryana.
During those earlier raids, "A huge quantity of cash, foreign currency, gold and other incriminating materials were seized," the NIA added. These items are under close examination to unravel the conspiracy behind the bombing.
So far, seven key accused have been arrested. The NIA teams are actively questioning them as investigations continue to pursue various leads related to the blast.
