On Monday, December 1, 2025, police filed a charge-sheet against three men charged with gang-raping a 20-year-old college student near Coimbatore International Airport on the night of November 2 and early November 3. The 50-page charge-sheet was submitted to the Additional Mahila Court in Coimbatore. The accused are T. Karuppasamy alias Satheesh (30), his brother T. Kaleeswaran alias Karthik (21), and their distant relative M. Guna alias Thavasi (20) from Madurai district. The police named them in various charges, including gang-rape. S. Latha, an Inspector from the Investigation Wing at Singanallur station, leads the probe, helped by R. Arjunkumar, Station House Officer of Peelamedu station, where the crime happened. The police prepared and filed the charge-sheet within one month, following instructions from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
