Three Dead in Severe Car Crash Near Kistaram Amid Fog and Speeding

In a tragic road accident early Wednesday, December 3, 2025, three people died when their car hit a road divider near Kistaram village in Sathupalli mandal, Khammam district. An 11-year-old boy, M. Shashi, 18-year-old Siddesi Jay, and 25-year-old Sajid were killed instantly as the front of their speeding car was crushed. Two others in the car suffered serious injuries and were taken to a government hospital. Police suspect poor visibility from thick fog and over speeding caused the crash. The accident happened near the Kistaram opencast mine on the busy Kistaram-Sathupalli highway, a known accident-prone spot. Sathupalli police have registered a case and started investigating.
