Telangana State Election Commission (TGSEC) announced a total of 28,278 nominations for 4,332 Sarpanch posts in the second phase of Gram Panchayat Elections 2025. For 38,342 Ward member posts, 93,595 nominations were received. On December 2, 2025, the last day to file nominations, 56% (15,799) of Sarpanch and 68% (63,556) of Ward member nominations were submitted. The TGSEC noted a similar trend in the first phase. Voting is scheduled for December 14, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vote counting will begin at 2 p.m. the same day, with results announced shortly after.
