Several parts of Rajasthan shivered in intense cold on Friday morning, December 5, 2025. Fatehpur in Sikar district recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 1.9°C, the Jaipur Meteorological Centre confirmed. Many regions reported minimum temperatures below 10°C. The Met office listed the cold spots: Fatehpur at 1.9°C, Sikar at 3°C, Nagaur at 3.1°C, Lunkaransar at 3.2°C, Churu at 4.5°C, and Pilani at 4.8°C on Friday morning. The weather department forecast dry conditions across most parts of Rajasthan for the coming week. This chilly spell continues to grip the state with no immediate relief in sight.
