Sri Gangai Amman Kovil and Sri Karmukil Vannan Kovil are coming together for a significant event of Kumbabhisekam scheduled on July 2, 2025, at Mambalam High Road in Lala Thottam, T. Nagar. The temples, situated close to the Kodambakkam Railway Station, will start the day with the main event from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. Following this, at 12 noon, a communal lunch known as Annadhanam will be organized by the temple authorities. The highlight of the evening will be at 8.00 p.m. when the deities of both temples will be taken out in procession on their respective vahanams, encircling the mada veedis according to a press release. The event will feature ceremonies and rituals that include Sri Devi Bhu Devi Samedha Srinivasa Perumal, Sri Devi Gangai Amman Swamigal Pushpa Alankaram accompanied by Nadaswaram, Vana Vedikkai, and Thiruveedhi Oorvalam.
