Cyberabad Police Visit Rajiv Gandhi Airport Amid IndiGo Flight Cancellations

On Friday, December 5, 2025, senior Cyberabad police officers visited Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to review disruptions caused by IndiGo flight cancellations. DCP Shamshabad B. Rajesh, Additional DCP K. Purnachander Rao, ACP Shamshabad V. Srikanth Goud, and RGIA Outpost Inspector Sampathi Kanakaiah met IndiGo’s regional management. The airline's Regional Manager explained the reasons for the cancellations and said, "The matter was being addressed on priority." He added, "Operational teams were working to restore normal services at the earliest." The officers checked the check-in counters, departure area, boarding gates, and bus gates to assess passenger flow and staff deployment. They instructed the Station House Officer to ensure passenger convenience, especially during peak hours, until the situation stabilises.
