CMC Holds Torch Rally to Celebrate 125 Years of Service in Vellore

The Christian Medical College (CMC) organised a vibrant torch rally in Vellore on Saturday to celebrate 125 years of its compassionate service to the nation. A group of 125 volunteers, including hospital staff and students, participated in the rally across Vellore town. The torch was lit by Annie Kamala Florence, principal of Voorhees College. Vikram Mathews, director of CMC, received the torch from the final runners and lit the cauldron. This ceremonial moment happened in the presence of Ebby George Simon, associate director of CMC, and I. Rajesh, medical superintendent of CMC. The event highlighted the commitment of CMC's community to healthcare and its long-standing legacy.
