65-Year-Old Man Hacked to Death in Kamalapur Over Old Rivalry

A 65-year-old man named Muhammad Haneef was hacked to death late Saturday in Kamalapur town, Kalaburagi district. Police said the attack happened near the KEB office on Jevangi Road. The suspect is Rizwan, 25, from the same village. Police believe the murder is linked to an old rivalry after a previous quarrel between the two. Superintendent of Police Addur Srinivasalu and other officers visited the site and started an investigation. The Kamalapur police have registered a case and the probe is ongoing.
