The Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025 started on Monday, December 8, at Bharat Future City near eastern Hyderabad. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma formally inaugurated the two-day event. The summit has multiple sessions across various sectors, with four sessions running at the same time during each slot. The opening plenary session discussed 'The Just Transition into 2047: Powering Telangana’s future.' At the end of the summit, the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document will be launched. Big names in business, including Gautam Adani, chairman and founder of the Adani Group; Anand Mahindra, chairman of the Mahindra Group; and Arvind Subramanian, senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, will join the closing plenary on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, other cabinet ministers, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar were present at the inauguration.
