Two Grade 9 students, Mahalakshmi and Shaili, from Oakridge International School in Visakhapatnam, took part in the annual STEAM Week at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This event is organized through a partnership between Nord Anglia Education and MIT. The week-long program brought together select students from Nord Anglia Education schools worldwide to the MIT campus. The students received hands-on experience in innovation and research. They worked alongside MIT researchers, explored advanced tech facilities, and tackled collaborative projects. They also participated in a climate action summit and interacted with MIT students to learn about university life and the culture of innovation at MIT. Shaila Bhamidipati, the school principal, said, "We are delighted to see our students return with such enthusiasm and insight from their week at MIT. Experiences like these are an extension of the learning we value at Oakridge, giving our students real exposure to innovation and global collaboration."
