The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) removed four flight inspection officers after IndiGo experienced massive flight disruptions. The exact reason for this action is not clear. Questions are being raised about DGCA's assessment of IndiGo’s pilot needs, especially after allowing the airline a 10% increase in flights this winter.
