NLC India Limited on Thursday announced the regularisation of 397 IndcoServe society workers who have served the organisation for many years. The ceremony was held virtually, with Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy participating. He noted that since 2015 nearly 2,300 workers have been regularised at NLCIL. "The regularisation of long-serving workers demonstrated the nation’s vision of progress built on respect, inclusion and shared prosperity," Reddy said. He urged NLCIL to keep supporting workers with health camps, training, skill development, and mental wellness workshops. Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs L. Murugan, also attending virtually, said the move will bring meaningful improvements to the workers' lives and their families. At the ceremony, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL, handed over appointment orders to the 397 workers. He said, "The regularisation of 397 workmen strengthened the organisation’s human capital and aligned with the national mission of Viksit Bharat 2047." Motupalli added that employee welfare remains a core value of NLCIL. Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resource), also took part in the programme.
