The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru held the KrishiVitta – Agri Startup Investor Meet on December 12. This event was organized by UAS-B's Agri Innovation Centre along with GINSERV and the Atal Incubation Centre, Coffee Board. Vice-Chancellor Dr. S.V. Suresha opened the event. He said UAS Bengaluru is focused on promoting innovation. He added that KrishiVitta 2025 aims to increase equity and debt funds flowing into India's agriculture and related sectors. Guest of Honor C. B. Bala Reddy, Additional Director of Karnataka's Department of Agriculture, called the programme "a milestone in agricultural transformation." He encouraged investors to see startups as "development partners." At the meet, eleven startups presented their ideas to seven investors. Besides pitches, the event featured a Startup Expo and several workshops focused on key themes. More than 250 people attended, allowing valuable networking and strengthening the spirit of agri-entrepreneurship.
