Thousands of followers and local people took part in the 'Green Heartfulness Run' organized by Sri Ramachandra Mission in Tirupati on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The marathon began at the Mission’s premises on Kapila Theertham Road. The route passed through Anna Rao Circle, the TTD administration building, Ghantasala Circle, and returned to the Ashram. The Mission’s centre coordinator A. Eswaraiah said the run was held both to support a greener environment and to mark ‘World Meditation Day.’ He recalled the Mission's deep focus on meditation’s many benefits. The run was officially started by Tirupati Deputy Mayor R.C. Munikrishna. BJP state spokesperson Jalli Madhusudhan also joined the event. After the run, participants gathered for a 'Satsang' at the Mission premises, celebrating peace and mindfulness.
